Strainers
Y - Type Strainers
Usually installed in-line for coarse filtration. Provide lesser area for filtration than is available for basket filters. Generally fabricated or in cast body for smaller sizes.
Material of construction Cast: Iron, Cast Steel, SS304, SS304L, SS316, SS316L
Forged / Cast body: 15 mm – 50 mm SW/BSP (Scd.)
Fabricated body: 100 mm – 1000 mm flanged / BW
Tee – Type Strainers
Are installed where the piping cannot be opened to permit removal of the screen, they are the ideal choice for vertical piping and come as either flanged or butt welded.
Material of construction: - SA 234 GR WPB, Cast Steel, SS304, SS316
Conical Strainers
Are used for flushing operations or installed during the commissioning of plants and removed when plant operations are streamlined. They come in sizes ranging from 50 mm to 1000 mm.
